Strumhor Hogmanay Escape
If you want
to get away from all the fuss over New Year and wish to spend Hogmanay by the
fire or walking in beautiful scenery, we have the place for you.
We have two
doubles and two single rooms, a lounge with
wood-burning fire and a conservatory, so there is plenty of room to find a quiet
corner or to socialise with a small group of friends.
We’ll serve malt whisky with shortbread on arrival and on New Year’s Eve, we’ll serve a home-cooked dinner to which you may bring your own wine. If you fancy bringing in the New Year in style afterwards, walk down to the Ferryman's Inn where there is a piper at midnight and see the fireworks outside as they are set off all around the countryside. Or if you prefer, stay by the fire or take one of our selection of DVDs/Videos to your room. A later breakfast will be on offer on New Year’s Day if that’s what you’d like.
